You will learn how to create navigation menus in WordPress, link pages together, and ensure their site is easy for visitors to navigate.

Website Structure Basics

Understanding Website Navigation
  • Why navigation matters:

    • Helps visitors find what they need quickly.

    • Improves user experience and SEO.

  • Types of navigation:

    • Primary menu (top of site).

    • Footer menu (bottom of site).

Secondary menus (optional dropdowns).

Creating Menus in WordPress
  • Live demo:

    1. Go to Appearance → Menus.

    2. Create a new menu and name it “Main Menu.”

    3. Add pages (Home, About, Contact, etc.).

    4. Arrange the order and create dropdown menus if needed.

    5. Assign the menu to the “Primary Menu” location.

Show how to create a footer menu with links like Privacy Policy, Terms, Contact.

Linking Pages & Custom Links
